Gregory Bruce - President
Greg Bruce is a woodwind player, educator, improviser, composer, and dancer based in his home town of St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. Greg is the Musical Director for Wonderbolt Circus, is the band leader for gypsy-funk outfit Ouroboros, and has studied with some of Canada's most accomplished saxophonists. In 2012, Greg completed his Masters in Music at Memorial University in St. John's. Greg keeps a very busy schedule between touring with groups such as Baytown, teaching at both his home and at Memorial University, as well as writing music and being involved in the local labour movement.

Peter Gardner - Vice President
Peter Gardner has been involved in the Newfoundland music community for over 40 years. He was past Concertmaster and Artistic Director of the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra, was founding Executive Director of Festival 500, has contributed as an Associate Director and Executive Director of the Banff Centre and more. Dr. Gardner is the recipient of multiple awards for his service to the arts in Canada including an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Letters from Memorial University of Newfoundland.
Wade Dawe - Secretary-Treasurer
Singer/Guitarist Wade Dawe began performing in 2003, and in June of 2011, released his first CD entitled "Damned Old Rodeo". His original composition "Cupids" has been getting regular airplay on local radio stations. During the summer of 2012, Wade was a cast member of the musical, "Solomon Gosse's Birthday", with Torbay Theatre. Wade has been a member of CFM Local 820 since 2010.
Paul Bendzsa - Executive Board Member
Multi-instrumentalist, teacher and performer, Paul Bendzsa is proud to be serving once again on the board of the NLMA. Paul came to Newfoundland in 1976 as a faculty member of the newly formed Department of Music where he was the principle teacher of woodwinds, Jazz Ensemble, and a member of the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra. Over the years, he has gigged with chamber ensembles and dance bands, formed new-music partnerships with Don Wherry, Rob Power (Spanner), the Blue Rider Ensemble, The Canadian Saxophone Quintet, and a host of friends and musical allies.
Terry Campbell - Executive Board Member
Born in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Terry Campbell is currently based in St. John's, Newfoundland, where he enjoys an active life as a performer and educator. While in St. John's, he has been fortunate enough to work and perform with artists such as Amelia Curran, Hey Rosetta!, Bill Brennan, Duane Andrews, Curtis Andrews, Heather Bambrick, Chris Kirby, Jerrold Dubbyk, the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra, Amy Millan, The Once and many more. He has recorded professionally for film, commercials, and numerous albums.
